What better way to celebrate influential women on International Women’s Day than learning about the successes of one amid the Detroit Lions front office.
Jessica Larmony immigrated to the United States when she was just five years old. Growing up in New Jersey, she headed to Rutgers University where she discovered her passion in football recruiting.
Today, she serves as Detroit scouting operations manager as she enters her fifth season with the organization. Vito Chirco of Sports Illustrated’s All Lions offers an awesome profile on her rise to success.
Part of the profile includes her thoughts on new general manager Brad Holmes: “His vision and what he’s bringing to the table right now is next level.” She later goes into detail how she’ll aid in his efforts here in Detroit.
Larmony also expands on why representation matters, and what makes having a seat at the table in an NFL front office so important. Read Chirco’s entire piece here.
And onto the rest of your notes.
