Podcast: Breaking down the Lions’ pre-free agency moves, Campbell’s hints about draft

Pride of Detroit

We’re a week out now from the start of the new league calendar year, free agency, all manner of maddening things and all sorts of change to the Detroit Lions roster.

The Lions got a start on it last week by introducing some cap casualties, a few restructures, just things to really get the pot started. We’re breaking it all down on the latest episode of the Pride of Detroit PODcast, the most reviewed Lions podcast (this is a thing we apparently decided is part of the brand now).

But that’s not all, as Dan Campbell made several appearances with the media and we gleaned illumination on what the Lions could be doing in the draft from that. Once more, the question of quarterback at pick No. 7 has come up, but there’s a lot of other positions of need in this draft. Also, apparently the Lions hope they can trade Chase Daniel, which has brought our own Ryan Mathews to give one of his spiciest takes yet.

And we also brought back our mailbag for the offseason, with plenty of questions about Jared Goff, Lions of the past and even more free agent discussion. Download now!
