Winners and losers from Lions preseason game 1

Pride of Detroit

With the first preseason game in the books and the second game against the Pittsburgh Steelers looming for the Detroit Lions, we’re breaking down the best and less-than-such on the latest Pride Of Detroit PODcast, picking up from our conversation last week where we previewed the preseason game.

Surprisingly enough (and maybe depressingly depending who you ask) we have a quarterback battle on our hands. At the same time, there’s plenty to break down from the wide receivers room after the first preseason week, and the kool-aid is flowing strong for one particular rookie receiver.

We also discuss running backs, offensive line depth and how one part of the defense wasn’t tested at all on Friday.
