Here’s what the Lions must improve on in the second half of the season

Pride of Detroit

The first half of the NFL season has not gone the way the Detroit Lions had hoped. We are perhaps being generous in this phrasing, but it also cuts deep and clean and needs no other explanation to its meaning. When you are winless, little has gone your way.

But this simply means there is a second half, another selection of football games just waiting to stamp upon the face of this Lions squad. In the latest edition of the PODcast, here on this blessed bye week, we’re taking a look back and a look forward, because we were taught to look both ways before crossing the street.

We’re reacting to the non-claiming of Odell Beckham Jr., the return of Taylor Decker and the chance for Amon-Ra St. Brown to earn a bigger role on the roster. We’re discuss what we want to see most in the second half of the season, and what superlatives we can don upon the Lions from their first half play: our favorite Campbell-isms, worst moments, all the rest of things we are discussing as we wait with anticipation and dread for more Lions football.

As a reminder, we are continuing on with our Movember charity drive! There’s still plenty of time to give, with many awards and chaos to be unleashed on the PODcast and our Twitch streams.
