Detroit Lions LIVE Show: Training Camp Observations Ft. Jared Goff, Aidan Hutchinson, & Swift

Detroit Lion’s training camp is in full swing as practice heads into day five. Many observations were noted in this practice such as a major injury to wide receiver Quintez Cephus. Lions WR Cephus went up for a catch and fell hard onto the field. His injury resulted in getting helped off the field. Defensive tackle Alim McNeill also got banged up but got up and stayed at practice.

In today’s training camp practice, the defense stole the show. The defensive line led by Aidan Hutchinson continues to get pressure on the Quarterback. Aidan Hutchinson is absolutely dominating Lions training camp. Good coverage by the secondary. Jeffrey Okudah has been sticky staying with his wide receivers. The battle between Will Harris and Jeffrey Okudah continues as they both take first-team reps.

Lions QB Jared Goff has been solid in training camp throwing nice deep balls to DJ Chark and a great over-the-should pass. Tim Boyle has struggled with many incompletions and passes that are off-target. Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown has been stunning in training camp.
