The Detroit Lions honored the greatest running back of the Super Bowl era this weekend. In advance of the team’s Week 2 home opener against the Seattle Seahawks, the team unveiled a statue in at Ford Field of franchise icon Barry Sanders.

The NFL’s all-time leading rusher is forever immortalized in front of the home of the Lions with a statue capturing Sanders making one of his trademark ankle-breaking moves.
