Dan Campbell remains the odds-on favorite for NFL Coach of the Year

USA Today

Leading the Lions to the franchise’s best start in 61 years has earned Detroit head coach Dan Campbell a lot of national acclaim. It’s also posited Campbell as the front-runner for the NFL’s Coach of the Year honor.

At BetMGM sportsbook, Campbell is the odds-on favorite to capture the honor.

Campbell has a slight edge on Demeco Ryans of the Houston Texans. Campbell is listed at +200, while Ryans is next in line at +250. His Texans team has already smashed the “over” on the season win total of 4.5; Ryan has guided Houston to a 7-5 start in his first season at the helm.

If he wins, Campbell will be the first Lions coach to be the NFL’s Coach of the Year since Wayne Fontes in 1991.
