This happens all the time. Fans of a team will look at one of their players that could be traded and overvalue you them to the point of delusion. A perfect example is that I had Lions fans telling me that Julian Okwara shouldn’t be traded unless the Lions get a premier player back for him ahead of the cut down period.
The latest overvalue is for Chiefs cornerback L’Jarius Sneed. He is a very good player and the Detroit Lions should absolutely be interested in trading for him. But there is no way that they are going to do what this guy thinks they’re going to do.
