The Detroit Lions pulled something of a surprise in selecting Missouri cornerback Ennis Rakestraw with the 61st overall pick of the 2024 NFL draft. It’s not that Rakestraw was an unknown prospect; he was one of the most commonly projected players to Detroit in the early portion of the offseason.
