Aidan Hutchinson wins NFC Defensive Player of the Month

No defensive player was better than Aidan Hutchinson in the first four weeks of the 2024 NFL season. Detroit Lions fans probably knew that already, but now it’s officially recognized for all to see.

Hutchinson was named the NFC’s Defensive Player of the Month for September for his outstanding kickoff to the season. No. 97 leads the NFL with 6.5 sacks through the first four games. He also tops the NFL in QB hits and QB pressures across various analytical sites.

It’s a nice recognition for Hutchinson, who has emerged as one of the top candidates for NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
