Best Lions vs. Packers same-game parlay for Thursday Night Football

Yardbarker

Week 14’s Thursday Night Football game could be the best of the year as the Detroit Lions host the Green Bay Packers. There are plenty of intriguing bets for this matchup. Same-game parlays tie together betting on a team’s moneyline or over-under point total, plus one or more prop bets. If you hit on all bets in your parlay, it makes for a very nice payout.

Here is our best same-game parlay for the Lions vs. Packers primetime matchup.

  • Packers cover +3.5-point spread
The Lions are the better team and are playing at home on a short week, so I think they’ll take care of business and win. However, 3.5 points is a bit much. The Packers are a talented team and will play hard. This game should come down to just a few key plays, and an uncomfortable Detroit victory.
  • Packers QB Jordan Love OVER 247.5 passing yards
Love has thrown over 247 yards in three of his last four games, including against the Lions one month ago. That was also in snowy conditions in Green Bay, and this matchup will be in a dome in Detroit. The Lions rank 25th against the pass, and Love is averaging an impressive 8.2 yards per completion. This game could turn into a shootout, meaning plenty of passing attempts for Love.
  • Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown ANYTIME touchdown
St. Brown is tied for second in the NFL in receiving touchdowns with nine. He has caught at least one touchdown in eight games this season, including one against the Packers in November. Green Bay could be without All-Pro cornerback Jaire Alexander for this game, and even if he does play he’ll likely be limited. That will provide a big opportunity for St. Brown to have a very productive game.
