Lions home and away opponents for the 2025 season now set

USA Today

We won’t know the sequence of the Detroit Lions’ schedule for the 2025 NFL regular season for a few months, but Detroit’s Week 18 win and NFC North championship did finalize the team’s home and away opponents for next season.

All but three games were already known. Of course, Detroit will play home-and-away against the three other NFC North opponents, the Bears, Packers and Vikings.

The Lions, like the rest of the NFC North, will play the entire NFC East and AFC North in 2025. Their first-place finish fills out the non-divisional schedule with matchups against fellow division winners Kansas City, the Los Angeles Rams, and Tampa Bay. The locations are predetermined by the league. All NFC teams play 8 home games and 9 road games in 2025.

Home games in 2025

Chicago Bears (5-12), Green Bay Packers (11-6), Minnesota Vikings (14-3), Dallas Cowboys (7-10), New York Giants (3-14), Cleveland Browns (3-14), Pittsburgh Steelers (10-7) and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-7).

Road games in 2025

Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Washington Commanders (12-5), Philadelphia Eagles (14-3), Cincinnati Bengals (9-8), Baltimore Ravens (12-5), Kansas City Chiefs (15-2) and Los Angeles Rams (10-7).
