Jeff Okudah will make another start at cornerback Sunday for the Detroit Lions — and draw another one of the NFL’s best receivers for his matchup.

The Lions downgraded starting cornerback Desmond Trufant to out for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Trufant left the Lions‘ season-opening loss to the Chicago Bears with a hamstring injury and missed last week’s loss to the Green Bay Packers.

He was listed as doubtful to play on the Lions’ Friday injury report.

Okudah, the Lions’ first-round pick, made his NFL debut last week and had a rocky day against Packers receiver Davante Adams.

On Sunday, he’ll face Pro Bowl receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who has 22 catches through two games.

The Lions (0-2) also are without slot cornerback Justin Coleman, who went on injured reserve last week with a hamstring injury.
