After the Georgia Bulldogs lost to Alabama last weekend, D’Andre Swift unfortunately had to pay up on a bet and rock some Crimson Tide gear.

Look away, Georgia fans, because you’re not going to want to see this. Following last Saturday’s rough loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide, the energy in Athens has taken a bit of a hit, as Georgia looked strong in the first half and fans thought they’d be able to take down Mac Jones and Nick Saban.

Instead, a strong second half powered Alabama to victory. To make things worse, D’Andre Swift appears to have made a bet with Da’Shawn Hand, where the loser would have to sport the colors of the other’s alma mater. As you can see in the photo below, Swift had to pay up this week.

Poor Swift. In the photo, you can tell just how uncomfortable he is supporting Alabama. The youngster loves his Georgia Bulldogs, and was undoubtedly disappointed when Georgia couldn’t take them down over the weekend.

As bummed as Swift may have been on Saturday, that didn’t stop him from having the best game of his rookie season on Sunday. In the Lions’ 34-16 win over the Jaguars in Week 7, Swift carried the ball 14 times for 136 yards and two touchdowns. He put on an absolute show and reminded Detroit fans of just how special of a player he can be in this offense.

Swift figures to see his role in the offense grow moving forward, even with Adrian Peterson continuing to get carries. Georgia fans can’t wait to see what else he can accomplish in 2020. At the same time, they’ll probably hope they don’t have to see Swift in any other SEC clothes the rest of this season.
