Detroit Lions’ Dan Campbell news conference: Jared Goff gives us the best chance to win

The Detroit Lions didn’t add to their loss column after Sunday’s tie in Pittsburgh, which could be seen as a sign of progress.

Sitting at 0-8-1, the Lions enter another week hopeful that THIS will be the week they collect their first win. To pick up the first win in the Dan Campbell era, they’ll have to go down the road to Cleveland and face a Browns team that is searching for answers after a shocking blowout loss to New England.

Before the Sunday showdown with the Browns at 1 p.m. on Fox, Campbell will open Browns week by addressing the media on Monday afternoon.

Among the topics that could be discussed are the state of the Lions offense — will he be calling plays once again? Also, there may be an update on Lions quarterback Jared Goff.
