SideLion Report

Here is the final injury report for the Detroit Lions in Week 10 against the Chicago Bears.

The Detroit Lions got a much-needed win in Week 9 over the Green Bay Packers. In Week 10 they’ll hit the road looking to make it two in a row, and two in a row over divsion rivals, against the 3-6 Chicago Bears.

Here is the final Week 10 injury report for the Lions, with game statuses for Sunday.

Detroit Lions Week 11 injury report at Chicago Bears

WR Josh Reynolds (back)-Out
OT Matt Nelson (calf)-Doubtful
S Kerby Joseph (concussion protocol)-Questionable
LB Malcolm Rodriguez (elbow)-Questionable
CB Chase Lucas (ankle)-Questionable
S Ifeatu Melifonwu (ankle)-Questionable
RB D’Andre Swift (ankle/shoulder)-No designation
C Frank Ragnow (foot)-No designation
RB Jamaal Williams (veteran rest day)-No designation

Reynolds will miss as second straight game with a back injury. The Lions’ wide receiver is incredibly thin behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Kalif Raymond. Trinity Benson was brought back this week, and he may be up in uniform on Sunday with Tom Kennedy.

A big headline here is Swift, who does not carry any injury designation for Sunday’s game after being a full participant in Friday’s practice. What that means for his workload is another conversation.

Joseph’s Defensive Player of the Week showing in Week 9 was dampened by a head injury in the game and being put in concussion protocol. But he was a full participant in Friday’s practice after clearing protocol, and barring a setback before kickoff Sunday he should play.

The news is not quite as good for fellow rookie Rodriguez, who suffered an elbow njury last week and has not shed a brace. But he has not been ruled out, or listed as doubtful, so it looks like he’ll try to play–but don’t rule out a pivot to declaring him out on Saturday.

Ragnow continues to land on midweek practice reports with a lingering foot injury, but he’ll continue to play through it.

On the Bears’ side, here’s their Week 10 injury report.

CB Kindle Vildor (ankle)-Out
DL Al-Quadin Muhammad (knee)-Doubtful
CB Jaylon Johnson (oblique)-Questionable
OL Teven Jenkins (hip)-Questionable
S Dane Cruikshank (illness)-No designation
CB Josh Blackwell (knee)-No designation
