The Detroit Lions were without Pro Bowl receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown in their win over the Carolina Panthers. There were fears by Lions fans, that stemmed from Twitter doctors, that St. Brown’s injury might be more serious than originally thought. Turns out that’s not the case.

Lions Head Coach Dan Campbell was on Stoney and Jansen on 97.1 The Ticket on Tuesday morning and he said this about his star receiver:

“I do feel pretty good about the possibility of him playing this week,” Campbell said. “I think it’s certainly more than questionable, I think it’s closer to probable at this point. We’ll see how this week goes.”

The Lions have Tuesday off this week, so we’ll see what happens on Wednesday when the Lions return to practice. If St. Brown is there, we’ll know just how close it is to probable.

St. Brown is obviously the Lions top receiver. He has 26 receptions for 331 yards and two touchdowns this year.

We’ll have more updates on this story as it comes in.
