Lions vs Bucs Thursday injury report: Branch and Gibbs sit out

Yardbarker

The Detroit Lions got Amon-Ra St. Brown back at practice on Wednesday and started the 21-day clock on Khalil Dorsey as well. Were they able to get anyone back on Thursday ahead of their matchup with the Buccaneers? Let’s take a look. Here’s who did not practice for the Lions on Thursday:

  • Brian Branch
  • Jahmyr Gibbs
  • Zonovan Knight
  • James Mitchell
  • Jonah Jackson
  • Frank Ragnow
  • Emmanuel Moseley

Still no Jahmyr Gibbs. He hurt his hamstring on Friday of last week, So he’s still in the early portion of dealing with that. Brian Branch also missed practice on Thursday. He was working with trainers on the side.

Jonah Jackson sat out a second straight day with an ankle injury that he suffered against the Panthers on Sunday. It’s looking like a possible Taylor Decker situation all over again. Friday will give us a good idea of where things are headed with him.

As for the Bucs, it looks like Mike Evans has missed his second straight day of practice this week. That’s going to put his availability for Sunday into real question. The plan is to run him on Friday and see how it goes. We’ll have update son that as news comes in. Here’s who all sat out for them:

  • Mike Evans
