Detroit kicks off plans for 2024 NFL draft

Officials kicked off a flashy media event to hype the 2024 NFL draft, which will take place in Detroit on April 25-27. Visitors can expect a plethora of free experiences and events, such as an interactive football-themed park.

The Detroit Experience initiative will involve a neighborhood engagement program with multiple pre-NFL draft events at city parks and recreational facilities.

“Detroit will be ready. When the NFL fans come here, we’re going to treat them to a different experience than they had in the last year,” mayor Mike Duggan said.
