The Lions are encouraging fans to join them at Ford Field at 12:40 p.m. ET on Sunday, January 7, for the banner-hanging ceremony.
For those unfamiliar with the game day schedule at Ford Field, official parking lots and garages open at 9 a.m. ET—surrounding non-affiliated lots open much sooner—and the stadium’s gates will open to fans at 10:30 a.m. ET. So there should be plenty of time to get access to the stadium and in your seat in time for the festivities.
The Detroit Lions won the NFC North for the first time in 30 years, and the team isn’t waiting to celebrate their division title. The Lions announced they will hold a “2023 NFC North Championship Recognition” ceremony ahead of their Week 18 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
