The Lions first round playoff game against Rams has been scheduled

What a day for the Detroit Lions. They won their divisional game at home against the Vikings and came a game away from nearly sealing the NFC’s second seed. Unfortunately the Commanders are not a good football team.

Anyhow, everyone is going to get the game they’ve been wanting for weeks now. The third seed Lions will host the sixth seed Rams at Ford Field next weekend on Sunday night at 8:00 ET.

This is sure to be a game full of storylines. This will be Matthew Stafford’s first game in Detroit since a Week 18 Lions loss to the Vikings on January 3rd, 2021. This game also represents a chance at revenge for Jared Goff, who the Rams had an ugly and public breakup with during and after the 2020 season. Goff has a much better Lions team than the one he brought into Los Angeles during the 2021 season.

Get ready for some fun in a very raucous Ford Field that will be looking to bury some old demons in this game. We’ll see on Sunday night.
