Jonah Jackson reportedly leaving Lions to sign with Rams

The Detroit Lions were able to secure one of their offensive linemen on Monday when they re-signed Graham Glasgow to a three year deal. As expected, they were not able to keep both. Jonah Jackson has left to re-join Matthew Stafford in Los Angles.

The Rams really paid Jackson a lot and at the end of the day, the Lions were just never going to do that. Jackson had a really strong beginning with the Lions, but 2022 and 2023 were rough. He missed 10 games with injuries including the NFC Championship game in January. His play had also taken a dip.

The Lions now have a spot to fill at left guard. We’ll see where they decide to do that at. Whether it be in free agency or the 2024 NFL Draft.
