NFL All-Pro edge rusher says he’d want to play for the Lions if…

There was a time not long ago when Detroit Lions fans were dreaming of Raiders all-pro edge rusher Maxx Crosby coming to Detroit in a trade. We explored that possibility during the deadline and what it would cost and came to the conclusion that it would cost the Lions too much and that it was highly unlikely the Raiders would do that. But that doesn’t mean Crosby isn’t interested.

Cosby was on The Rush Podcast this week and they asked him if he didn’t play for the Raiders, what team would he want to play for. He said the Lions.

That makes a lot of sense. Crosby grew up a Lions fan. He is from the area. He grew up in Lapeer, Michigan and attended Eastern Michigan University.

This could happen some day, but it’s not going to happen any time soon. Crosby just signed a massive four-year $98 million contract extension that will keep him in Las Vegas until 2026. Who knows? maybe after that? Someday we’ll see. Until then all you can do is dream about it.
