Looking for Detroit Lions highlights from OTAs? We haven’t really had a chance to see any after the first week of practices since the Lions haven’t put any up yet.
Don’t fret, there’s a highlight out there and it comes from one of the Lions players on their Instagram. Lions running back David Montgomery put this video from his Microsoft Surface tablet on his Instagram story on Thursday night and it shows that he might be more explosive than ever.
It’s OTAs and nobody is in pads or anything, but Montgomery looks faster and more shifty than he did last season when he finished ninth in the NFL in rushing yards and fourth in rushing touchdowns.
With the speed that Jahmyr Gibbs brings and the things that rookie Sione Vaki can bring to the table, the Lions could have the best run game in the NFL next season. Not a big stretch since the team was fifth in rushing yards last season.
