Lions players dominate fan voting for the Pro Bowl

USA Today

The Pro Bowl might not be an actual game anymore, but it’s still a status players covet. One-third of the Pro Bowl selection process is the fan voting, and the fans have spoken loudly that the Detroit Lions deserve major representation in the honorary exhibition.

The NFL published the final results of the fan voting, and the list reflects a lot of love for the Lions.

Several Lions finished atop the fan voting at their positions:

C Frank Ragnow
S Kerby Joseph
G Kevin Zeitler
WE Amon-Ra St. Brown
RB Jahmyr Gibbs
OT Penei Sewell
P Jack Fox

Offensive guard Graham Glasgow, LB Jack Campbell, OT Taylor Decker and safety Brian Branch were second at their spots. Alim McNeill (now injured) finished third at DT, as did QB Jared Goff, kicker Jake Bates and special teams player Sione Vaki. Carlton Davis was fourth amongst CBs, the same as long snapper Hogan Hatten and TE Sam LaPorta. Running back David Montgomery came in fifth, too.

The fan vote gets combined with the player votes and coach voting to determine the final Pro Bowlers. The Pro Bowl teams will be announced on Thursday.
