► Justin Rogers: The Lions’ defense isn’t progressing as quickly as hoped, which is bad news with the Ravens’ dynamic offense coming to town. It figures to be a long afternoon for the youthful unit, requiring the offense to get out of their comfort zone and play keep-up. While that group showed promise in the first half against Green Bay, and the Ravens are shorthanded after a small COVID outbreak, it’s tough to count on 30-plus points from Jared Goff and company. Ravens, 33-23
► Bob Wojnowski: The Lions shuffled their defense and added another rookie, Derrick Barnes, and they’ll need those fresh legs to chase down You Know Who. Lamar Jackson is the Ravens’ leading passer, leading rusher, leading-touchdown-maker and leading havoc-raiser. All that action can lead to turnovers, and he’ll take a sack or fumble. For the Lions to have any chance, they need to hammer Jamaal Williams and D’Andre Swift behind a strong offensive line. The defense won’t stop the Ravens, but if they do some ball-hawking, they could force turnovers to keep it close. Ravens, 36-21
