Detroit Lions’ Dan Campbell weekly news conference: What he said

Detroit Free Press

Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell is speaking in Allen Park following his team’s 24-6 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington, Texas.

The Lions committed five turnovers as the offense fared little better coming off its bye week. After scoring 140 points in their first four games, the Lions have been held to just six in their past two games combined, though injuries to running back D’Andre Swift and wide receivers Amon-Ra St. Brown and DJ Chark have hampered the attack.

JEFF SEIDEL:Goff’s struggles, turnovers should be five-alarm worry

SHAWN WINDSOR:Another loss for Lions, in ways old and new. What did this city do to deserve it?

Next up for the 1-5 Lions is a visit from the Miami Dolphins, who took down the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. Elsewhere in the NFC North, the Green Bay Packers were upset Sunday by the Washington Commanders. The Minnesota Vikings had the week off and the Chicago Bears face the New England Patriots (who shut out the Lions, 29-0, two weeks ago) on Monday night.
