The last time these two teams met, Detroit took a 15-9 win at home, which is a rarity against Aaron Rodgers. If Seattle wins in the afternoon against the Rams, then the Packers can take the seventh seed with a win, but Detroit is eliminated. If the Seahawks fall to LA, then Sunday Night Football is a win and in game for both sides, the biggest game for Detroit in years.
These offenses were both humming last week, they both put up 41 in NFC North wins, so I don’t think we’ll see a defensive battle like Week 9. Here are my best prop bets for Sunday Night Football at Lambeau Field.
Best NFL Prop Bets for Lions vs. Packers
AJ Dillion Over 42.5 Rush Yards (-114)
Jamaal Williams Under 56.5 Rush Yards (-114)
Amon-Ra St. Brown Over 69.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
AJ Dillion Over 42.5 Rush Yards (-114)
It’s been much of a more even split in the Green Bay backfield lately, last week Aaron Jones had 14 carries to Dillon’s 12 and now they’re going against a Detroit defense that is very susceptible to the run. Jones has been on the injury report all week, so I wouldn’t be surprised if Dillon is the lead back.
Jamaal Williams Under 56.5 Rush Yards (-114)
Green Bay’s run defense has finally come around. They invested so much in the defensive side of the ball and it’s paying off with Quay Walker playing good football and helping the D-line stuff the run. Over the last three games they’re sixth in run defense only allowing 85.3 rush yards per game. For the season that number is nearly 150.
Amon-Ra St. Brown Over 69.5 Receiving Yards (-115)
There is good news for Lions fans, I didn’t come onto your site to say your team can’t stop the run and will get run all over this week. Amon-Ra St. Brown will come up big in a big game. Jaire Alexander was dominant against Justin Jefferson last week, so that could be concerning when backing an opposing No. 1 receiver, but St. Brown does so much work out of the slot. He’ll be able to avoid Alexander enough to have a big day.
