When will Dan Campbell and Brad Holmes speak at the 2023 NFL Combine?

SideLion Report

As the NFL convenes in Indianapolis for the 2023 NFL Combine, when will Lions general manager Brad Holmes and head coach Dan Campbell speak to the media?

The NFL is about to have Indianapolis as its epicente this week, as draft prospects, agents, general managers, head coaches etc. come in for the 2023 NFL Combine.

Not every team will have their coaching staff in Indianapolis. But those coaches, and general managers, will have a 15-minute press conference to answer questiones from the assembled media.

Lions general manager Brad Holmes will of course be in Indianapolis this week, as will head coach Dan Campbell.

So when will the Lions’ top two front-facing non-player figures talk to the media?

When will the Detroit Lions general manager and head coach talk at the 2023 NFL Combine?

According to Ryan Fowler of The Draft Network, Holmes and Campbell will both speak on Wednesday. Jeff Risdon of Lions Wire already revealed Holmes would have his podium session on Wednesday, but Fowler posted the schedule with confirmation of his podium time as well as the time Campbell will speak on March 1.

Brad Holmes: 4:15 p.m. ET, Podium 3
Dan Campbell, 4:30 p.m. ET, Podium 3

So Holmes and Campbell will be back-to-back on Wednesday, and they look to be the last speakers (at least as currently posted and scheduled) on a lighter day of GM/coach media availability in Indianapolis.

Holmes and Campbell may not offer any overwhelming insight this week. But Holmes may have interesting answers to draft-related, salary cap or free agency/contract questions, while Campbell has a couple spots to fill on his staff after defensive line coach Todd Wash and Senior offensive assistant John Morton have departed and replacements have not yet been announced.

Campbell will probably be asked about the departure of assistant head coach/running backs coach Duce Staley, given its his first media availability since Staley left for the same job with the Carolina Panthers to be closer to his ailing mom.
