And since we’re just hours away Round 1 in Kansas City, let’s scour the internet to see what the world is saying the Detroit Lions will do with their first of two picks, No. 6 overall.

The Lions went 9-8 last season, earning the No. 18 pick in the first round, but they also have No. 6 from the L.A. Rams as a part of the Matthew Stafford trade. So, what will the Lions do at 6?

Well, according to Free Press Lions beat writer Dave Birkett, it will be taking Illinois cornerback Devon Witherspoon, who projects to be an impact player in pass game and against the run.

The smart money says Carolina is taking Alabama quarterback Bryce Young No. 1 overall. So, some combination of Witherspoon, Oregon cornerback Christian Gonzalez, quarterbacks C.J. Stroud (Ohio State), Will Levis (Kentucky) and Anthony Richardson (Florida), Georgia defensive lineman Jalen Carter and edge rushers Will Anderson (Alabama) and Tyree Wilson (Texas Tech) will be available when the Lions are on the clock.
