Leading receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown practiced with the Detroit Lions on Thursday, but several key players missed a second consecutive day.

St. Brown sat out Wednesday’s practice and is dealing with turf toe. He leads the Lions with 12 receptions for 173 yards and one touchdown.

The Lions are preparing for a Week 3 home game with the Atlanta Falcons with the status of left tackle Taylor Decker and running back David Montgomery in doubt.

Montgomery has a team-high 37 carries for 141 yards and two touchdowns, but said his bruised quadriceps muscle would need a few weeks to heal.

Decker (ankle) missed last week’s game and right tackle Penei Sewell shifted to the left side, where he continues to practice this week.

The Lions could also be without right guard Halapoulivaati Vaitai (knee). He didn’t play last week.
