Amon-Ra St. Brown says he’s ‘feeling pretty good’ after missing 2nd practice

We’re getting ever closer to the Detroit Lions matchup with the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. We got our first glimpse of the injury report on Wednesday and we saw that Amon-Ra St. Brown and Brian Branch were out from practice while a bunch of guys made their returns. Let’s see who missed out on practice Thursday:

  • Brian Branch
  • Amon-Ra St. Brown
  • Jason Cabinda

The good news on St. Brown is that he was working with trainers on the side during practice on both Thursday and Wednesday. If he can return for Friday, that’ll be a very good sign that he could play on Sunday. St. Brown was interviewed by media after practice and he said “it’s just a little abdominal injury. I’m feeling pretty good. I was running today. I think I may have hit one of my top speeds the other day, so I’m feeling pretty good.”

That’s good sign from the man himself. As for Branch, it’s starting to look like he could miss this game.

Josh Paschal was seen on the sideline working with trainers. That’s something to watch. He can return to the Lions next week when his four week injured reserve period is up.

Update: Here is the practice report from Thursday, Still some limited practices across the board. I would be shocked if all of these guys don’t play, but there’s still Friday’s practice and then game designations. We’ll know a lot more then.
