Lions TE Sam LaPorta returns to practice Friday, status still in air

Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta returned to practice on Friday, opening up an unlikely window for the rookie receiver to play in Sunday’s Wild Card playoff game against the Los Angeles Rams. “LaPorta will run around today,” Lions coach Dan Campbell said before Friday’s practice. “So he’s feeling better.”
