Sunday’s UFL Championship was already a laugher, with the Birmingham Stallions solidifying back-to-back-to-back titles in a 25-0 victory over the San Antonio Brahmas. But, with the result already in hand late, things got ugly.

With 3:06 to play, Stallions tight end Jace Sternberger, a former member of the Green Bay Packers, got into a nasty tussle with cornerback Bryce Thompson of the Brahmas. After officials handed out off-setting unnecessary roughness penalties, they ejected both players from the game.
