Video: Previewing who to watch in Lions-Giants preseason game

The preseason is upon us, and we’re all fired up to watch some Detroit Lions football. The exhibition season kicks off Thursday night at 7 p.m. ET in New York against the Giants.

Most of the starters and important players for the Lions won’t play in this one. That means it’s an opportunity for some lesser-known or inexperienced players to really get their NFL feet wet.

From Hendon Hooker to DaRon Gilbert, here are some of the players I’ll be focusing on in the preseason opener for the Lions. This was recorded on Wednesday via the Detroit Lions Podcast.
