Lions undrafted rookie defensive end  Nate Lynn had been steadily climbing the depth chart all summer. A very strong preseason debut against the New York Gianylts elevated Lynn into legitimate contention to make the 53-man roster.

Unfortunately for Lynn, his rookie campaign is over. The EDGE from William & Mary suffered a shoulder injury in the preseason loss to the Giants. On Sunday, Detroit head coach Dan Campbell confirmed that Lynn’s injury will force him out for the season.
