Jets head coach Aaron Glenn has added to his growing staff as former NFL cornerback Dre’ Bly comes on to coach the secondary and Jon Berger jumps on board to handle game management.

Bly, a former stud cornerback for UNC in college before becoming a pro-bowler and super bowl champion was in Detroit with Glenn as the cornerbacks coach last season.  He’ll now head a group that is led by Sauce Gardner who will look to bounce back from a down season in year 3.

Given the number of injuries the Lions dealt with in 2024 and still managed to have a great deal of success, adding a defensive coach from that staff is a no-brainer at this point.

According to Athalon Sports, Berger worked in the NFL office of replay last season, which Glenn likely expects to help with in-game decisions and challenges.

Bly and Berger join running backs coach Nic McKissick-Luke who comes over from the University of Minnesota where he coached after moving on from Norther Illinois.
