By adding a dynamic pass rusher opposite Aidan Hutchinson, Detroit can be more patient at linebacker, letting young players grow instead of forcing quick fixes.
A better pass rush also takes pressure off the secondary, giving the safeties and corners a chance to get back to the level they flashed in recent years.
